Looks like replacing Jimmy Fallon comes with perks!
Seth Myers has been announced as this year’s Emmys’ host. Myers, who took over for Jimmy Fallon about 2 months ago, will be hosting the Emmys on August 25th!
Myers was quoted as saying that he was ready to “play ball” at this year’s Golden Globes. An exec at NBC has said “Seth’s expertise and ease in front of a live audience during his time at SNL, as well as his comedic brilliance both as a writer and in front of the camera on SNL and Late Night, makes him the perfect choice to host the Emmys.” Don Mischer will serve as executive producer.
This year’s show is on a Monday! I’m so used to award shows being on Sundays; but I’m psyched, are you? Don’t miss the Primetime Emmy’s on August 25th on NBC!
