Here Are The 2016 Summer TV Premiere Dates

There are lots of shows coming up this summer — don’t miss them with our summer TV premiere dates cheat sheet!

Some years ago the start of the summer meant the end of TV watching, as our shows went into summer hiatus (some never to return… RIP Pushing Daisies) and what we got in the meantime, while patiently waiting until fall, were shows that we didn’t really care too much about.

This has changed now and the summer now means new shows that we’re hooked to. They are not only interesting and entertaining; they are quality shows too, some which have garnered critical praise (Mr. Robot, UnReal). With shorter summer seasons, showrunners and writers can really focus on the story without being pressured to complete the ~22 episodes they have to usually do for fall, also there is less burnout so the stories stay fresh.

This summer the trend continues and we have plenty of new shows premiering in the upcoming months, as well as some of your favourite shows returning. So to help you have all dates on hand and you don’t miss anything, we’ve put this cheat sheet together with all the premiere dates for shows starting this summer. Don’t forget to bookmark this page so you can keep coming to look at it for the next months and check for updates.
