21 Jump Street (loosely based on the TV show from the 80’s) was a critical and box office hit when it was released early last year, immediately sparking rumors about a possible sequel. Fans allover rejoiced when it was finally confirmed that there would indeed be a follow-up film – 22 Jump Street.
On Monday, Channing Tatum tweeted this picture from that day’s read-through of the script:
Both Hill and Tatum will be reprising their roles from the first one, and Dave Franco hinted at returning for the sequel as well.
The movie is set to be released in June of next year.
