Entertainment Weekly has shared exciting news for “50 Shades” fans. On June 18th (soon right?) the infamous book will be released from the perspective of our dark hero, Christian Grey.
Can you guess the name? This new book will be entitled “Grey”, which seems fitting.
The date holds special significance as it’s Christian’s birthday. E. L. James wrote this because of the fans constant requests to learn more about Christian. It will be a nice change of pace to not read Ana’s inner monologue page after page, unless Christian’s is worse.
All kidding aside, this trilogy has sold over 125 million copies with a successful series of films following, meaning the franchise will only grow. James is excited to tell Christian’s side of the story, stating, “Also, as anyone who has ever been in a relationship knows, there are two sides to every story.” There is no word as of yet if the whole trilogy will be retold by Christian but we do know the next film will be on the big screen in 2017.
