Long time co-host of the hit talk show “The View”, Joy Behar will be leaving after 16½ years on the show. Behar is the only other original co-host besides the shows creator Barbra Walters. ABC recently released a statement on Behars departure stating: “Joy Behar has been instrumental in the success of The View from the very beginning. We wish her all the best in this next chapter, and are thrilled that we have her for the remainder of the season.” Behar herself has commented that she’s neglected her stand up comedy and has been working on other projects like a new show and she’s been writing a play.
As someone who watches “The View” from time to time I’ll miss her, she was always bold and usually had some of the best jokes. So, tell us! Who do you think could replace Joy? Time to bring in someone younger and fresher? Thoughts?
