Fans of the CW show Arrow have a lot to look forward to in the second season, especially when it comes to Roy Harper’s character development.
In the comic book, Roy joins Oliver Queen (Stephen Queen) to help combat evil. Which is where actor Colton Haynes thinks his character was going.
“I think [Roy joining with Oliver is] obviously where it’s heading,” Haynes reported to US Weekly. “Whether or not that’s going to happen right away, I’m not quite sure. I think they’re toying with the idea of making him wait a bit.
Haynes went on to talk about the personal development of his character. “You have to watch out, because Roy has a lot of inner demons. If he becomes a [costumed] hero right away, he could possibly turn into a little bit of a bad guy.”
The crime-fighting actor was recently promoted to a series regular for the upcoming season which premiers this fall.
