Daily of the Day introduced its readers to this father-son duo who transformed the SunRay Cinemas in the Historic Riverside District of Jacksonville for the ultimate gaming experience for his son’s birthday party.

So how much was this gamer’s birthday party?  According to Daily of the Day, it was about $300!

Jonah and his friends were treated to five hours of using its big screens and had unlimited amounts of a child’s trifecta of snacks: pizza, popcorn and soda at the SunRay Cinema snack bar.

This was a dream come true for the 13-year-old, who struggles with Type One Diabetes. While he is not busy playing video games, Jonah gives back to his community as he is a regular at most fundraising events for the local chapters of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and the Walk to Cure Diabetes.

But for one night only, Travis, Jonah and his friends had an unforgettable night of gaming as they played with several best-selling games including Fallout 3, Skyrim, Minecraft, the tenth anniversary edition of Halo and Portal.

However, there was only one game that Jonah and his friends were not able to make through – Dead Space 2.

Daily of the Day speculated that the guys only made it through five minutes of the survival horror video game… but left readers to determine their own conclusion on why they did not make it through.
