Dwayne Johnson is once again teasing a possible run for the White House.

President Johnson? President Rock? Dwayne Johnson (a.k.a. “The Rock”) isn’t saying yes or no. Yet.

This past weekend, at Stan Lee’s Los Angeles Comic Con, the blockbuster action star and WWE wrestling veteran again teased a possible run for the White House when questioned by an audience member.

“I think the ‘People’s President’ has a really nice ring to that. I’ll just say that,” he said. 

Dwayne Johnson for President: Yes or No?

Earlier this year, Johnson addressed the political rumors head-on in a hilarious Saturday Night Live opening monologue, replete with a campaign “announcement” and Tom Hanks on board as his running mate. A few months later, a political action committee, “Run the Rock 2020,” was registered with the Federal Election Commission by a man with no known ties to Dwayne Johnson. 

In all of his public comments on the matter, Johnson has been careful to not say yes—while also not saying no. Addressing the topic with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show in May, Johnson deftly employed the “we’ll see” approach:

The press tour for his latest film, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, will soon be heating up, and the political rumors surrounding Dwayne Johnson show no signs of slowing down.
