Staff Writer Microsoft has heard the cries of gamers everywhere and has announced a new Xbox One that will soon only cost $400.
The new Xbox will be out June 9th and will not include the Kinect or require a Live Gold subscription.
Without the Live Gold subscription though, owners will still be able to stream apps like Skype, Hulu, and Internet Explorer without having to pay a fee.
Microsoft will still be selling the $499 model with Kinect, but will also introduce a “standalone” Kinect sensor later this year.
It would seem that Microsoft is attempting to match the PS4 price of $399.
