Rockers Soundgarden and Nine Inch Nails announced today that they will embark on a summer co-headlining tour, along with the band, Death Grips. This pairing is a bit surprising, considering that frontman Trent Reznor or NIN has a long history of spouting off about Chris Cornell, singer of Soundgarden.
Courtesy Of FacebookThe timing for this tour is good, as it is the 20th anniversary of both The Downward Spiral, the second album from Nine Inch Nails and the fourth album for Soundgarden, Superunknown. Both were hits for the bands. To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the albums, Reznor chose to reunite the band for a new album, Hesitation Marks, and Soundgarden will do a re-release of Superunknown.
Tickets for the tour will go on sale March 21st, 2014 and the tour dates are listed below:
