This is just cute on so many levels. Buffy The Vampire Slayer alum Sarah Michelle Gellar and Anthony Stewart Head recently had a little BTVS reunion of their own! The Buffy/Crazy Ones star posted the image on her twitter account with the Slayer and Watcher duo sporting “Cool To Be Kind” bracelets; an organization started by Head to promote kindness towards animals. Does it get much sweeter than that?

The two stared together in the long running series that continues to impact pop-culture with a committed fan-base even after concluding in 2003. As everyone should know, Gellar played the lead role of Buffy, with Head playing her watcher/mentor Giles who became a father figure to the heroine and produced one of the show’s pivotal relationships. Head now stars on the new SyFy series, Dominion, but has kept hope alive for a potential Ripper spin-off on the many adventures of Giles, telling Vulture,”I would love to, you know? Whether it’s Ripper or something else…”
Let’s keep hope alive that one day we will see the planned Ripper series play out in some way or another, and if you are hoping for more adventures from the Buffyverse, don’t fret! The show carries on through comics for seasons 8, 9, and 10 which are executive produced by Whedon himself (so yes, it’s actually cannon)!
