Aaron Carter set the bar for house parties when I was growing up, his song “Aaron’s Party” was super catchy and on every one of my party playlists. 13 years after the song’s original release, Aaron Carter is bringing us The After Party tour, a celebration of all of his past hits, set to hit cities across America this spring. In a recent interview Carter was quoted as saying, “My fans are looking for nostalgia and that’s exactly what they’ll get when they come see me.”
Since hitting the music scene in the late 1990s as ‘Backstreet Boys’ Nick Carter’s younger brother,’ Aaron quickly garnered fame in his own right, selling an amazing 30 million albums – which means he is certified triple platinum.
For the past 15 months Carter has taken to the stage, starring in the off-Broadway production of The Fantasticks. Carter joined the cast back on November 7th, 2011. Since then, Aaron has extended his role in the show 4 times but now he must leave the show to prepare for tour. His final performance will be this Sunday, February 17th.
