A*Base Rework Ace Of Base’s All That She Wants

Ace Of Base tribute act, A*Base, have now dropped their brand-new single, a reworked version of the iconic “All That She Wants”.

You are most probably aware of A*Base, as they’re an Ace Of Base tribute act. After launching with their debut single, a cover of “Never Gonna Say I’m Sorry”, they have now returned in a much better way, with their version of hit single “All That She Wants”.

In fact, the revisited “All That She Wants” doesn’t sound bad at all. A*Base have managed to stay close to the original, by keeping the reggae-pop vibes untouched. In terms of production, it seems as an updated version of the classic tune, just right to fit in today’s music industry. The vocals aren’t bad either, especially since they’re coming from teenagers who actually aren’t Ace Of Base. It’s definitely beyond expectations and gives hope for more great covers.

The members of A*Base are basically teenagers and they plan to release an EP later this year, helmed by producer Ari LeTennen. Since the original members of Ace Of Base themselves are happy with their tribute band, why should anyone be complaining? After all, ABBA had A*Teens and Ace Of Base definitely deserve this kind of treatment. The song has only been released in Nordic countries for the time being, but expect an official link to come out soon. Take a listen to “All That She Wants” below.
