With the fall TV schedule filled with new shows, it seems this one is a good time for ABC. Reportedly, after recently ordering full seasons for two of its newest shows, the network has now asked for more scripts from three of its current series.
The three shows that now got additional episodes are Selfie, Manhattan Love Story, and Forever. Despite not giving them orders for a full season just yet, ABC asked for three extra scripts. It couldn’t be any different, since the network is satisfied with their ratings so far. With their latest episodes, Selfie sits at 1.0, Manhattan Love Story at 0.9 and Forever at 1.1, which are good numbers considering the first two are romantic comedies and only the latter is a drama.
These three television series might have been given only a few additional episodes so far, but ABC was the first network to give full seasons to a couple of its new shows. As reported recently, Shonda Rhimes’ How To Get Away With Murder and Black-ish are on for a full senior season.
