It looks like Superman and Batman are going to have another ally on their side as Academy Award winner Chris Terrio has been hired by Warner Bros to rewrite David S. Goyer’s original script for Superman vs. Batman.
Terrio is in great standing with Ben Affleck who is set to play the Caped Crusader. They previously worked together on Argo, for which Terrio recently won the Best Adapted Screenplay award at the Oscars.
This adds another big name to the Zack Snyder directed film as Henry Cavill is reprising his role as Superman, Amy Adams will be back as Lois Lane, and earlier this month it was announced that Gal Gadot will take on the role of Wonder Woman. Game of Thrones star Jason Momoa is currently in talks to join the flick, and rumors are circulating around Joaquin Phoenix being approached for the role of Lex Luthor.
Superman vs. Batman is due out July 17, 2015, and with Terrio on board this could mean even bigger things for what is already expected to be a monstrosity of a movie.
