Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know Lady Gaga is back in full force with new music. You may also know that the singer has the highly anticipated first performance of her new single “Applause” set for this years MTV Video Music Awards. The award show, dedicated to music videos, will take place on August 26th at the Brooklyn Barclays Center, and Gaga already has an outfit in the works.
Famous for shocking audiences with her vast array of red carpet looks at previous award shows, there is a lot of speculation as to what the performer will be wearing. In the past it’s ranged from wearing her now-famous meat dress to dressing in drag as her male alter ego, Jo Calderone. In a recent interview with Ryan Seacrest she was asked what we could expect for this year’s show. What did she have to say about it?
“I’m in the Top 50 right now. We’re narrowing it down. I’ve cut out the poultry and the vegetables and we’re going for textiles,” she said.
Hmmm. Any guesses to what Lady Gaga’s look will be this time around?
