Roger Goodell is having the PR week from hell, as another NFL player hits the news in a horrible fashion.
Adrian Peterson, the star running back for the Minnesota Vikings, has been indicted for child abuse in Texas.
According to Sports Radio 610:
“Peterson’s son had pushed another one of Peterson’s children off of a motorbike video game. As punishment, Peterson grabbed a tree branch — which he consistently referred to as a ‘switch’ — removed the leaves and struck the child repeatedly.”
Photos have been released through the Houston Police Department showing the injuries to the child. I’ve chosen to not show them in this article because frankly, they shouldn’t be public. A child was beaten, and honestly you don’t need photographic evidence to anger anyone about this issue.
As a result of the news, Peterson has been deactivated for this Sunday’s game against the Patriots. Hopefully this isn’t the only game taken away from him for being an absolute jerk to a child, and not just that but one of his own blood.
