Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will be closely tied to the future movies within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The highly anticipated drama could contain hints to future big screen installments for big fans of the movies, Joss Whedon told TV Fanatic today.
“We’re absolutely on top of all the movies,” Whedon said. “We never contradict [or] replicate – we will be flowing in between them, maybe occasionally we’ll throw something in that foreshadows [or] echoes, but we’re very much beholden to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.”
Don’t expect the MCU to overshadow the show. It has been described as “very character driven”. Everything the show does is to “push forward” the characters.
