Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. Gets A Second Season Greenlight And A New Primetime Marvel Neighbor

Those who having been watching Marvel’s Agents Of Shield created by Joss Whedon, Jed Whedon and Maurissa Tancharoen having been dying to know if the show would get renewed or not.

Well, fear not, for as of tonight ABC has officially renewed its freshman series staring Clark Gregg, Ming-Na Wen, Brett Dalton, Chloe Bennet, Iain De Caestecker and Elizabeth Henstridge for a sophomore season.

If that isn’t enough Marvel news for you, ABC has also picked Marvel’s Agent Carter starring Hayley Atwell as Peggy Carter from the Captain America films.

Those who have seen Captain America: Winter Solider and have heard when the series was just a solid rumor, know that Agent Carter is one of the founding members of the S.H.I.E.L.D. organization.

So are you excited that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D gets another season? Happy that the Agent Carter Series is set to join S.H.I.E.L.D. in the ABC lineup, and wondering who will join Atwell when the series starts?
