Courtesy of: FXEvery year fans salivate at the opportunity to have a peek at the American Horror Story main credits, which are both different and extremely creepy every season. With a week until the launch of the new series AHS: Freak Show, Ryan Murphy took to twitter to share the sought after video. The new into for Freak Show, is created with stop motion animation, which is a method where something is physically manipulated to appear to move on its own accord. This is showing a different approach to what we may have expected from previous seasons.
The credits include a variety of clown like dolls and figurines with grimacing smiles, rotating heads, and many additional body parts. This season’s introduction to the series sets up a whole different side of AHS, unexplored thus far and that just in the main titles! Murphy has teased about this season being very different from each previous story, and with everything we’ve seen so far I’d bet that Freak Show will be extremely unique, and thrilling in all new aspects.
American Horror Story: Freak Show premieres October 8th at 10 p.m. and stars Jessica Lange, Evan Peters, Kathy Bates, Sarah Paulson, Emma Roberts, and Denis O’Hare, among many others. Check out the credits for the new season and lets us know what you think about the upcoming season!
