New Trailer For ‘AHS Freak Show’ Raises Our Expectations

American Horror Story: Freak Show is turning out to be just what the title indicates. A series of promotional photos and footage recently surfaced featuring a creepy-clawed beast, with the newest teaser including a spit tongued man who eerily enjoys a lollipop, proving to be a little on the creepy side with his reptilian-like tongue and oddly groomed facial hair.

The promotional campaign for the FX horror series anthology hardly disappoints, providing uniquely haunting and mysterious visuals to process, and an immense build up of anticipation. It was recently confirmed that the fourth season of American Horror Story will air Wednesday, October 8th on FX with returning AHS vets Jessica Lange, Evan Peters, Kathy Bates, Emma Roberts, and a slew of additional returning actors, along with a decent amount of new actors to the franchise.

AHS Freak Show will take place in Jupiter, Florida in 1952, centering on a traveling “freak show” whose untimely arrival seemingly correlates with a wicked force of some kind that places the residents of Jupiter in danger. Many fans are holding out hope that this season will in fact be the most horrifying yet, with a promised dark tone that is said to lie somewhere in between AHS Asylum and the fan favorite AHS Coven.
