Alec And Ireland Baldwin Poke Fun At The Old Days

Seems as though Alec Baldwin and daughter Ireland, have moved forward from that voicemail scandal eight years ago and turned into a children’s book.

We all remember when Alec Baldwin’s infamous leaked voicemail to his daughter was the hottest celebrity news. That voicemail he left to his eleven-year-old daughter, Ireland Baldwin, eight years ago, was littered with brash words and threats far too severe for a conversation between father and young daughter. Baldwin called his daughter a “rude, thoughtless little pig,” among other things, and received a ton of backlash for it. It seems now that they’ve gotten past it and are even poking fun at the old days.

But now, almost a decade later, Alec and Ireland seem to have moved past it. An Instagram post from Ireland yesterday, depicts the father and daughter, now nineteen, sitting close together reading the children’s book “If I Were A Pig.” Alec’s face is goofy as he reads the book cross-eyed, and Ireland sits close, rolling her eyes. She captured the photo with “If I Were a Pig… I would be Rude and Thoughtless, of course!” followed by a pig nose emoji.

Though many Instagram users are sharing their thoughts on the matter in the comments section of Ireland’s post, the photo has gained over 10,000 likes since it was posted yesterday. It seems that both Ireland and Alec have officially moved past the incident that occurred eight years ago and are now able to look back at it and laugh.
