Alexander Skarsgård Slays In Full Drag At Red Carpet Premier

Alexander Skarsgård shocked attendants at his latest film premiere for Diary of  A Teenage Girl  by turning up in full drag.

The 38-year-old True Blood star  walked the red carpet on Monday the 3rd of August in a gold dress and a blond wing. He certainly stood out from the crowd due to the Swede’s 6 foot 4 frame.

Skarsgård, who does not play a drag queen in the film, confirmed he was in drag due to the premiere being held in the world famous The Castro, in San Francisco. He wished to pay homage to the The Castro’s famous drag past and the era in which the film is set. Peaches Christ, famous drag queen, also co-stars in the film.

The film is based on Pheobe Gloeknet’s 2002 novel of the same name. Skarsgård plays a man who seduces his girlfriend (played by Kristen Wiig)’s teenage daughter. The film will be released on limited release on August the 7th.

He certainly does know how to rock that dress, doesn’t he?
