A&E have announced a new cast member will be checking into Season Two of Bates Motel.
Michael Vartan will be playing a character called George, who will be a recurring character. The Alias star will be the love interest for Norma Bates in the TV show, which is a prequel to the Psycho movie.
Vera Farmiga, who plays the mother to Freddie Highmore’s young Norman, was recently nominated for an Emmy for her role as Norma.
Season Two will begin shooting next week and is due to be aired in 2014.
