After achieving success in her home country of Belgium, 21-year-old Alice, going by the name Alice on the Roof, is now looking to conquer the world.
Influenced by the likes of Peter Gabriel and Bon Iver among others, and having attended an academy of music at the age of six, Alice has always been almost intrinsically linked to and inspired by the music around her.
Her EP Easy Come Easy Go won her an army of fans and with her first full length album titled Higher due out on March 18th, together with an appearance at this years SXSW lined up, big things are happening for this young woman and rightly so.
To give fans a taste of what to expect on her album which will feature tracks from her EP as well as nine brand new songs, Alice has released her latest single “Lucky You.”
With its breathy vocal and simple lyrics, combined with an undeniable toe-tapping rhythm that kicks after the first verse, the track is a great introduction to Alice for those yet to become familiar with her, while at the same time no doubt delighting the fan-base that’s sure to grow exponentially in the coming months.
