As you probably heard, Amanda Bynes has been held in a California psychiatric hospital for ten days. Her lawyer told a judge on August 1st that the actress was able to look after herself, and that there was no legal reason for her to be detained.
Well, the request for Bynes to be released was denied, and she is currently still in the custody of the psychiatric hospital.
Recently, the former Nickelodeon starlet supposedly set fire to a stranger’s driveway in California, and was ordered to under go a 72-hour mental evaluation.
It’s been reported that she’s been doing well, handling her medications but with her current mental state, she’s still considered dangerous.
