More Scares To Come: ‘American Horror Story’ Renewed For 5th Season

Just days after the 4th season premiere (and the debut of Twisty the terrifying clown), FX has announced that American Horror Story will return for a 5th installment.

The 4th season premiere saw record-breaking numbers, so it should really come as no surprise that it’s been picked up. No word on what the theme will be next year, or if star Jessica Lange will return.

She had previously stated the 4th run would be her last, although Ryan Murphy has hinted that he’d love to keep her around in some capacity.

The 5th season will air in October of 2015.
