The Critics’ Choice Television Awards are coming up fast, and one lucky guy will be there! Director/producer Ryan Murphy is responsible for such shows as Glee, American Horror Story, and Nip/Tuck. Murphy will be honored with one of the top awards of the night, the Critics’ Choice LOUIS XIII Genius Award.
Joey Berlin of the Broadcast Television Journalists Association had this to say about Murphy’s work:
“From poignant reality-based movies to dark and twisted horror to musical theater, Ryan Murphy’s creativity knows no bounds.”
Murphy also developed the movie The Normal Heart for HBO. This movie has been nominated for five CCTAs, while his amazing television show, American Horror Story, is up for three awards.
