This is going to start getting REALLY hard…..
We’ve officially reached that point in the competition where every week, I’m going to get very afraid when it comes to eliminations.
Ryan got a little assistance during his beloved intro, by none other than “The Following” star Kevin Bacon!! The actor delivered the line that Ryan repeats week after week:
“THIS, IS AMERICAN IDOL!!”
After quick introductions, and a brief commercial break, Idol was wasting no time and jumped right into the results. My heart was already pounding, so this half hour results show at least gets it over quick.
Ryan revealed that we would be looking for the bottom 2 tonight, and we started off with Dexter, Alex, and Jena.
Lights are dimmed, and here we go:
The first person safe is…….
Jena!!!
That is a huge relief, because she gave the BEST performance last night. Now, between Dexter and Alex, Ryan revealed that one of them was safe and the other was in the bottom 2:
And the person in danger of going home was Dexter.
It was now down to Jessica, Sam, CJ and Caleb for that dreaded final spot.
And unfortunately, that final spot went to:
Jessica
Okay, so I have to admit some shock here. I really expected CJ to be in the bottom with Jessica……
But, alas……here we are. CJ and Jessica are your bottom two.
FINAL JUDGMENT time right now, with the eliminated contestant being: Dexter Roberts
Ugh. I’m really going to miss the country boy. I see big things for Dexter, and hope to see him on the ACM Awards in no time!!!!
