‘American Horror Story: Freak Show’ Finally Gets An Air Date

American Horror Story: Freak Show has finally received its official air date! No official videos or photos have been released.

The fourth season of the FX hit series American Horror Story: Freak Show finally gets its long awaited air date; plus watch the first official teaser!

The fourth installment of the series from renowned writers and directors Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuck will air Wednesday, Oct. 8 at 10 p.m.

The official FX logline reads:

“American Horror Story: Freak Show begins its tale in the quiet, sleepy hamlet of Jupiter, Florida. The year is 1952. A troupe of curiosities has just arrived to town, coinciding with the strange emergence of a dark entity that savagely threatens the lives of townsfolk and freaks alike. This is the story of the performers and their desperate journey of survival amidst the dying world of the American carny experience.”

Freak Show has fans freaking out as the show’s debut is less than two months away and there has been no official photos (apart from one tweeted by co-creator Ryan Murphy) and no videos.

Returning stars to the show include Jessica Lange, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Frances Conroy, Sarah Paulson, Emma Roberts, Gabourey Sidibe, and Evan Peters. There’s an all-star cast of new faces joining AHS this season, too, and they include Michael Chiklis, The Hunger Games‘ Wes Bentley, Fargo‘s John Carroll Lynch, The Normal Heart‘s Finn Wittrock, and the world’s smallest living woman, Jyoti Amge.

With the success of the previous American Horror Story seasons, there’s no doubt Freak Show will be received with acclaim by fans and new viewers alike.
