Tina Fey has confirmed that she will be discussing co-hosting the 2014 Golden Globe Awards with Amy Poehler again this year.
“NBC invited us back and so we’re going to see if we think we can do it without stinking it up,” Fey said. Fey confirmed the rumors about her and Poehler co-hosting again that have been circulating with Ryan Seacrest Sunday night at the Emmys.
Fey explained that she and Poehler have been busy with various projects on opposite sides of the country and that they haven’t had the chance to discuss the idea. “”NBC has invited us. We’re going to talk about it tonight!” Fey told Seacrest at the Emmys.
The 2013 Golden Globe Awards saw a 17 percent increase in viewers from when Ricky Gervais hosted in 2012 with almost 20 million viewers.
The 2014 Golden Globe Awards will be held on January 12 2014.
