Funny woman Amy Poehler has expressed her uncertainty of returning as co-host of the Golden Globes.
When USA Today asked whether she would be returning as host for the award show she simply replied “I don’t know.” And then went on to add “Who knows?”
It was reported that NBC executives had asked Poehler and her funny partner-in-crime, Tina Fey, to return as hosts. It was also rumored that NBC executives will begin negotiations with the pair next month so they can confirm a host before the nominations are announced in December.
The comedic duo were highly praised for their hosting skills at the award show this year, helping to pull in 19.67 million viewers, which is 17 percent higher than the previous year.
Both woman are currently a little busy, what with Poehler attending the Toronto International Film Festival promoting her new movie You Are Here, and Fey scheduled to host the premiere of Saturday Night Live on September 28.
I can’t be the only one hoping these two will continue to bring the laughs to the Golden Globes stage. I guess we’ll have to wait and see. The 2014 Golden Globes will be held January 12.
