Relive The ’60s With Animal Years’ ‘Forget What They’re Telling You’

With their own unique spin on the growing trend of throwbacks to other musical eras, Animal Years impress with their latest music video.

Indie rock band Animal Years‘ new music video, “Forget What They’re Telling You” is definitely going to inspire some nostalgia.

Starring True Blood‘s Bailey Noble, it features a simple, aesthetically pleasing visual as she dances to the band performing their song on her television, a la The Beatles in the ’60s.

There’s been a trend lately of flashing back to earlier eras musically, so I think Animal Years fit right in with their mellow, timeless sound.

Their album, Sun Will Rise, is available for streaming on SoundCloud.

For any New Yorkers interested in seeing this local quartet live, they’re scheduled to open for Robert Randolph and the Family Band at Brooklyn Bowl this Friday night (Nov. 28). For ticket info and times, check out the official event website.
