Remember that “Jessica” girl from Twilight? Yeah, the same actress that enchanted us with “Cups” has given us another reason to want to be her. Yes, she is the self-acclaimed, “pale, awkward and very, very small,” actress that we’re obsessed with and after watching the Spike TV’s hit show, Lip Sync Battle, you will love her even more. Yes folks, Anna Kendrick has somehow become even more awesome.
The battle between John Krasinski, who also happens to be an executive producer of the show, and Anna Kendrick seems to be going Krasinski’s way the moment he rips off his suit and smashes a Tina Turner number. But, and by no surprise, Kendrick comes on stage and KILLS it. The “Pitch Perfect” star gets things started with One Direction’s “Steal My Girl” all while sporting a top that has Emily Blunt’s face printed on it. Ironic? Blunt just happens to be Krasinski’s wife.
Krasinski – 0. Kendrick – 1.
Kendrick wasn’t done, the star rapping flawlessly along to Iggy’s verse in “Booty,” showing off her mad skills. Can it get any better? It gets Jennifer freakin’ Lopez better. JLo makes a cameo appearance in Kendrick’s performance and no one will ever top this.
