The lovely Anna Kendrick has been tapped to lend her voice to the upcoming DreamWorks Animation project, Trolls.
The adventure film features the iconic Troll dolls and Kendrick will play a princess named Poppy. Other notable names connected to the film include the director, Mike Mitchell and producer, Gina Shay.
According to Mitchell, “Anna has proven herself to be a brilliant actress with an amazing singing voice. She’ll inject Poppy with the exact mix of spirit, sass and song that will no doubt give a whole new life to the iconic Troll dolls.”
Kendrick is also busy with other projects, including the Disney musical adaptation of Into the Woods where she will play Cinderella and the upcoming film, Happy Christmas.
Trolls is slated for release on November 4, 2016.
