Percy Daggs III will return to play Veronica’s best friend Wallace Fennel in the new Veronica Mars movie. Daggs’s character was a part of the entire show’s run while it was on television. The show’s creator Rob Thomas made the announcement about Daggs’ involvement in the film to those who backed the film’s Kickstarter. In the announcement Thomas said “I can admit that there was never a version of the script that didn’t include him. It just wouldn’t happen.
Daggs is now the third person, besides Kristen Bell, to rejoin the cast of Veronica Mars for the movie. Those already set to return to reprise their roles are Jason Dohring, who played Logan Echols, and Enrico Colantoni, who played Veronica’s father Keith Mars.
