Time to throw out all of my old watches! Or at least get a nice display case and a little ANTIQUE plaque. Apple, who had hoped to release new wearable products in October, will now debut their wearable devices alongside their new iPhones in just a few short days (September 9th).
These new wearables, as they are known to be called, will presumably make good use of Apple’s newest HealthKit and fitness platform, which will be included in the new iPhone 6 and iOS 8 update.
It will also help with HomeKit, another new Apple product that connects all Apple devices together. While the details about HomeKit are still unclear (how far will this connectivity reach?), it would be pretty cool if we could control iTunes radio on our computers from across the room. You could leave your laptop on your desk and read a book!
Or, you know, read in silence.
Although Apple has declined to comment on whether or not they will keep their October date open for new products, they certainly have enough ideas and hardware to fill it.
