Congratulations, Apple users, your complaints and threats have been received.
The company has taken action in response to its users’ displeasure with the U2 album Songs Of Innocence, which, as we previously reported, was placed automatically in the cloud for every iTunes customer, all 500 million of them, last week. The album is free, thanks to a partnership between Apple and U2, but most users aren’t interested in having it forced upon their devices.
A special method has been developed that, with just one click, will make Songs of Innocence disappear from your life forever. To set your device free, just click here.
If you change your mind, you can always download the album again at no charge until October 13.
Somehow, I have a feeling most of you will not be utilizing that option.
