The Grammy award winning Canadian Band, Arcade Fire, has knocked the current queen of pop out of the number one spot on The Billboard 200 with the debut of their newest album, Reflektor.

The spot was previously held by Katy Perry’s Prism, but with 140,000 records sold in one week, Arcade Fire came out on top as Prism only sold 92, 000 units – a 68% decline.

This is Arcade Fire’s second time atop the Billboard 200, the first time was with their 2010 album, The Suburbs; which is also the album that landed them their Grammy win for Album of the Year.

Two Christmas albums made their debut on the chart as well this week with Kelly Clarkson’s Wrapped in Red (3), and the Robertsons’ Duck the Halls: A Robertson Family Christmas (4). As we get closer to December 25, get ready to see more Christmas albums added to the list.

Arcade Fire’s Reflektor is now available for purchase.
