Ariana Grande released her sophomore studio album, My Everything, last August and the era is still going strong. The latest single to be lifted from the record is her collaboration with The Weeknd, “Love Me Harder”. The songstress recently shot the music video for the track and shared the first photos from the set online.
Filming began on last Wednesday (Oct. 1), with the two artists taking the set under directing orders from Hannah Lux Davis. The director is also responsible for Jessie J’s video for “Bang Bang”, which features Ariana.
The photos revealed by the Nickelodeon star on Twitter find the duo in a dark stairwell. They simply stand next to each other dressed in black, with the songstress rocking her trademark cat ears. In fact, it could turn out to be an on-set version of their SNL performance.
“Love Me Harder” serves as the third single to be lifted from the album, as a follow-up to the Iggy Azalea-assisted “Problem” and the Zedd-featuring “Break Free”. After a couple of very successful tunes, Ariana Grande hopes to repeat the appeal of her music with The Weeknd-assisted tune and it’s possible that she will do. After all, the track is already considered a fan-favorite and a highlight of My Everything.
