Ariana Grande Takes On Nicki Minaj’s “Bang Bang” Rap

Pop sweetheart Ariana Grande gave a rousing performance at last weekend’s BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards, held at the SSE Arena in London, UK.

Appearing alongside artists such as Ella Henderson,  Rixton and Labrinth, the 21 year old wowed the crowd albeit briefly with a show stopping 10 minute set which consisted of her hit singles ‘Break Free’ and ‘Problem.’

The real highlight of her set was her version of Jessie J’s huge hit “Bang Bang” which both she and rapper Nicki Minaj feature on and one that has topped charts worldwide.  Undeterred that her collaborators weren’t on stage to join her, the triple threat wowed the thousands of screaming fans in the audience with her rendition, and her cutesy take on Nicki’s ferocious rap just made us fall in love with her even more.

This isn’t Ari’s first venture into the world of rapping after her foray of attempts on a host of radio shows and events around the world, the likes of Mac Miller, Cat and Trina and of course current boyfriend and frequent musical partner Big Sean all being covered.
