Arrested Development, centering around the lives of the wildly dysfunctional Bluth family, is reportedly set to return for a 5th season in mid 2016, with everyone rumoured to be involved once again.
Appearing on The Adam Carolla Show, Grazer said, “Netflix is determined to do more episodes, so we’re going to do more episodes.”
Seventeen more, specifically. Production will begin on January 1, so expect new episodes “four months after that.”
The show, which began in 2003, currently holds a 9.1/10 rating on IMDb, making it the fourth highest rated TV show on Netflix, behind Doctor Who, Firefly, and of course, Breaking Bad.
Arrested Development has received critical acclaim throughout its run, and producers are set to continue this fashion by unloading a hilarious season five on its religious adherents. Diehards rejoice!
More updates will be posted as we get them, so make sure to check back!
