The annual swimsuit issue from Sports Illustrated will hit shelves next week, and though there are a number of gorgeous women within its pages, one of these women is certainly turning heads.
For the first time ever, a plus-sized model is featured in the magazine, the stunning Ashley Graham. Graham joins the usual suspects on the pages of SI including Chrissy Teigen, Benhati Prinsloo, and Heidi Klum, but she is certainly something special. In a statement, Graham said:
“I know my curves are sexy and I want everyone else to know that theirs are too. There is no reason to hide and every reason to flaunt.” She continued by saying, “The world is ready for more curves in bikinis.”

The 27-year-old, size 14 model, is much closer in shape to the average female out there, and she has been a long-time proponent for embracing curves.
