Italian astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti showed her Star Trek fandom colors in a recent photo she sent out to her Twitter followers:
"There's coffee in that nebula"… ehm, I mean… in that #Dragon. pic.twitter.com/9MYrqIOXnI

Cristoforetti, who is currently working on the International Space Station, wore a replica of the crew uniform from the series Star Trek: Voyager in the photo.
Her accompanying message referred to the Dragon SpaceX freighter, a supply delivery craft servicing the station. Among the latest cargo delivered by the Dragon was a new specially engineered coffeemaker co-created by two Italian firms. The appropriately named ISSpresso was designed specifically to give the space station crew a boost of espresso, even among the stars.
Cristoforetti successfully used the station’s robotic arm to pull in the Dragon and retrieve its caffeinated contents. No word if the captain plans to switch into a Picard-inspired Next Generation uniform if the next Dragon delivery happens to carry some lovely Earl Grey tea.
