Doctor Who is coming!
For over 1,200 Whovians living in South Korea, August 9th was a day to remember. Doctor Who stars Peter Capaldi and Jenna Coleman attended the preview screening of the first episode of series 8, titled “Deep Breath”, as part of the Doctor Who World Tour.
The event was sold out in two minutes and it featured the Time Lord busting some dance moves.
As the first international stop of the tour, the stars were welcomed warmly by an avid crowd of Korean fans at Seoul’s Incheon Airport on that Saturday morning. Many were dressed in costume and held up welcome banners.
Later in the evening, they attended a talkshow segment with the fans, which were streamed live on the Doctor Who Youtube channel.
Doctor Who will return to BBC One in the UK for its eighth series on Saturday, August 23.
