The big news of the day is that actor James Spader has been announced to play the villainous robotic Ultron in, the Joss Whedon directed, The Avengers: Rise Of Ultron.
According to Deadline, Marvel has just announced the addition of Spader to the star studded cast.
It’s definitely shaping up to be a huge year for veteran actor James Spader. The Boston Legal actor has a much hyped new drama coming to NBC The Blacklist.
Spader is a three time Emmy award winner for his role of Alan Shore in Boston Legal and The Practice. He is also known for his “eccentric” film roles in Pretty In Pink, Crash, Stargate, and, most recently, Lincoln.
The Blacklist premieres on NBC on September 23rd at 10pm. The Avengers: Rise Of Ultron will be released on May 1, 2015.
