If you were one of the (few?) people who resisted watching the Avengers: Infinity War teaser trailer first released to a very lucky group of people at D23 Expo this past July and leaked immediately on YouTube in all its grainy, shaky glory—your patience has finally paid off.
Marvel’s “Avengers: Infinity War” Teaser Trailer
Marvel debuted the trailer for the highly-anticipated Infinity War, a movie that’s been a decade in the making and being touted as the beginning of an end for some of our favorite superheroes, during Good Morning America this morning, and it is, in a word, incredible:
The teaser very much feels like a culmination, with appearances from just about every character you can think of, from Iron Man to Doctor Strange to Captain America to Black Panther to—just when you think they were left out—the Guardians of the Galaxy.
And Josh Brolin as Thanos certainly strikes a menacing figure, posing an immediate threat to all these heroes we’ve grown to know and love.
If there’s one criticism I’ve heard over and over again regarding the MCU, it’s that the movies tend to be “too funny” (a gripe I have personally never understood), but if this trailer is any indication at all, we are all going to be crying in the movie theater. I’m talking Toy Story 3-level emotions.
