After a long run of making news with rumors about a divorce and health issues, Avril Lavigne has made a return to the scene. The songstress has yet to bring the era for her latest, self-titled studio album to an end, by now releasing themusic video for the latest promotional single, “Give You What You Like”.
The track serves as a stripped-down, guitar-driven tune with some serious dark vibes throughout. Dark and moody as it is, “Give You What You Like” is probably the best offering Avril Lavigne has delivered lately. It’s the kind of tune you’d imagine she should be doing in a decade after her great debut. The accompanying visuals feature the songstress singing along to the track in a dark room filled with candles. In between, there are scenes of Lifetime’s television film, Babysitter’s Black Book.
Avril Lavigne has handed “Give You What You Like” to the movie as a soundtrack tune, so it serves as the fifth single to be lifted from her latest record . Babysitter’s Black Book follows the story of a group of babysitters obviously, who decide to turn to daddy hookers. The flick is scheduled to premiere on Lifetime, on February 21, in case you want to give it a look.
