A track from Avril Lavigne’s upcoming album has appeared online and it sounds like she is feeling a bit nostalgic with a newly leaked song titled “17.” The Canadian pop star first performed the song “17” back in April during a private showcase at the Viper Room in Los Angeles.

The song takes us back to when she was 17 years old and in a relationship. “We were on top of the world, back when I was your girl. We were living so wild and free. Acting stupid for fun, all we needed was love. That’s the way it’s supposed to be,” she sings and hits us with another catchy song to rock out to. What do you think of the new track?

The self-titled album, which happens to be her fifth studio album, was co-produced by Lavigne, Martin Johnson, David Hodges, and new hubby Chad Kroeger. Lavigne also collaborated with Kroeger on a track called “Let Me Go” as well as Marilyn Manson on a track called “Bad Girl”.

The album will feature 13 tracks including her past single “Here’s to Never Growing Up” and the current single “Rock N Roll.”

Fans will be able to pre-order the album on September 24, while the album is set to release on November 5.
