Pepsi Releases Back to the Future’s Pepsi Perfect

PepsiCo has announced the release of Pepsi Perfect from the film Back to the Future II. Only 6,500 bottles will be released, so act quickly.

Do you love Back to the Future? If so, some exciting news has just come down from Pepsi.

This October 21, 2015, which is the same day Marty McFly arrived into the future in Back to the Future II, Pepsi will release a limited edition soda, Pepsi Perfect.

In the film, Marty paid $50 for the drink, but you can get your own 16.9 oz. bottle for $20.15.

Senior Director of Marketing for PepsiCo, Lou Arbetter, says:

Fans have always been a little crazy about it, so we wanted to take advantage of the fact that Marty traveled to the future, to this month, and wanted to actually come out with the product.

This will be a limited opportunity, and only 6,500 bottles will be made. You can only buy the bottle online. Each bottle comes with a special case, but there is no special Pepsi formula contained within. Instead, it is the same Pepsi Made with Real Sugar that you can buy at any gas station or corner store.

There is also an opportunity to get Pepsi Perfect for free! Pepsi will be sponsoring a Back to the Future II panel discussion at New York Comic Con later this month, and there will be a booth featuring a DeLorean and the Wild Gunman game. The first 200 fans each day who approach the booth will receive their own Pepsi Perfect; however, the catch is that the lucky fan must also be dressed as Marty McFly.

As Marty McFly might say about this news… “This is heavy.”
